While the 2008 election of Barack Hussein Obama as the first black President of the United States is a symbolic ( and some African-Americans rightly say historical) gesture of goodwill of the white Anglo-Saxon Americans to the world, it does not in itself necessarily signify a genuine new change in US foreign policy in the Horn. That is, a new US policy of goodwill away from the wanton genocide, invasion and utter aggression via Ethiopian client dictatorship towards Somalia and the rest of the Horn of Africa nations.

President-elect Obama can talk all he wants about “change we can believe in” at home and aboard; he can continue to stress the merit of strategic diplomacy versus overt and indiscriminate genocide, but in the end he knows in Somalia it is the well entrenched US military industrial complex which will set the tone and make the decisions for how the new US administration conducts foreign policy in relation to the Somalia war.

Endless US-instigated Wars= the World on Fire!

Today, much of the world, especially the Horn of Africa region is literally on fire as a result of violent US wars and proxy occupations unleashed by the US and EU supported Ethiopian war criminal Zinawi dictatorship.

From Kabul to Mogadishu whole nations, economies and societies have been irrevocably destabilized and destroyed, yet the US has not won any overall decisive victories over the insurgencies nor has it secured any of its other geo-political long-term objectives.

Moreover, in each country, the resistant communities that have been targeted for genocide have stubbornly prevailed into highly adaptive and uncompromising Resistance movements.

These Resistance movements like in Southern Somalia have made the US instigated proxy wars very unprofitable and dangerous for the Western powers in light of Russia and China, who are prudently staying away from engaging in Third world wars.

Moreover, each Muslim country that has been invaded (i.e. Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq) has seen the dormant ethnic, religious and tribal/clan hatreds rekindled to unimaginable levels by the US invasion that the very idea of internal “reconciliation” with the bloody collaborators of all stripes will never take off! Therefore, the West knows there will never be any way to force any artificial “puppet regime” or “top-down” political dispensation on the resistant peoples as before. Consequently, millions of innocent Muslim people have been killed and continue to be massacred solely because of the American and European instigated 21st century wars of aggression. The innocent Somalis in Somalia continue to be massacred ( even as Obama settles into his new job as President of the world) for no other reason than they happen to be Muslims, they happen to be Hawiyes or in the other wars taking place around the Muslim world because they are Afghans or Iraqi citizens.

In addition, it’s also no coincidence that all the Muslim populations being bombed and killed around the world also happen to have brown/black skin and speak non-European languages. Therefore, the ever-growing list of victims of the US-instigated global genocides rightly asks each other: Will a symbolic black face in the White House really reverse the US-instigated bloodbath in my homeland?

Obama and Somalia: Yes and No!

The answer in the case of Obama and prospect for peace in Somalia is “No” and “Yes”.

Yes: because today the US military establishment faces the reality of triple defeat on all fronts in the so called War on Islam. The US military which is “the real decision maker” of US foreign policy in Somalia is now under the intelligent control of General David H.Petraeus, who is also the man overseeing the US Central Command in Somalia, Middle East and South Asia. General Petraeus, a man who has studied insurgencies and why they develop has a detail action plan which comprehensively understands that the Western fuelled religious-based imperialist wars of aggression in Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq are futile and unproductive in the face of determined people’s struggle. Therefore, General Petraeus has said that there is no other option to save American empire for the future but to quickly end the futile wars in Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq through genuine negotiations.

No: because the real problem in Somalia conflict is not the US military command or President Obama, but the incompetent East Africa CIA bureau in Nairobi which continues to manage the Ethiopian occupation war. The CIA contingent in East Africa are a bunch of ill-educated, anti-Somali redneck extremists who despite everything that the US has failed to achieve, still think that they can find some way to put bloody “leverage” on Somali Resistance stakeholders to settle the conflict on Ethiopian terms!

Moreover, these incompetent CIA operatives who have held successive US foreign policy on Somalia hostage for Ethiopian dictatorship since 1990s have not altogether given up on resuscitating the failed warlord policy in conjunction with trying igniting internal wars among the Hawiye clans as the Ethiopians flee Mogadishu.

In addition, the so called Jendayi E. Frazer of the US State department is foolishly and desperately still trying her best to use the “new deception card” whereby the new resident stooge so called Sharif Sheikh Ahmed is to hoodwink and divide the Hawiye people’s Resistance fighters on the ground. While simultaneously, the new stooge Sharif is all the while merging with the TFG war criminals, and from the other side of his face calling for a fake “internal reconciliation” conference with the genuine resistance leadership under Sheikh Hasan Dahir Aweys— all for the real purposes of undermining that very same armed Resistance struggle for his girlfriend Jendayi!

What's more, the recent disastrous trip into Jowhar and Beletweyn districts by the Djibouti stooges was all intended to divide the regional resistance leaders and commanders there (by extension the resistant Abgaal and Hawadle clans who are in the Muqaawama) to abide to the Ethiopian “paper ceasefire” so that their peoples can be further massacred by the Ethiopians, now all the more easily since they have disarmed.

However, apparently this time around, not all the Abgaal and Hawadle clans seem to bought the bait or proved to be so stupid as to believe the predatory designs of the new TFG warlord-hostage opportunist Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.

Arab and African regimes are anti-Somalia, anti-Peace!

Much worse and uglier, the Djibouti clique led by Sharif have shamelessly attempted to deceive the very Hawiye people who are being bombarded daily to accept the preposterous and evil notion of further deployment of so called “Arab/UN peacekeepers” to replace the broken Ethiopian invaders-the same despotic pro-Ethiopia Arab regime who are really just the same old anti-Somali aggressors in disguise, are now being given a chance to come under the guise of “Muslim peacekeepers” to wreck Somalia all over again!

Luckily the Hawiye people and the whole civilized world knows that Arab dictatorships can never become peacekeepers in Somalia, since the illegitimate Arab league were really the ones who helped wipe Somalia from the world map in December 2006! It is also to be recalled that same corrupt Arab League has fought hand and glove since with the Ethiopians and the African Union gangsters in Addis Ababa against securing Somalia’s basic peace, territorial integrity and societal wellbeing. In 2009 for an despotic Arab regime and dictator like that of Yemen or Egypt to say they now want to play “a constructive role” or even desire to be consulted about Somalia’s affairs is so ludicrous, insulting and far removed from truth that its very utterance does real damage to the prospect of lasting peace in Somalia!

Therefore, without any uncertainty any so called Arab/UN mercenary forces, just like the African Uganda-Burundi Amisom mercenaries and Ethiopian child killers shall be equally and ferociously repelled and attacked by the Hawiye freedom fighters, wherever and whenever they set foot in Somalia. That is a “lifetime guarantee" that will stand the test of time!

Conclusion: Obama Leave Somalia to General Petraeus!

In conclusion, the proxy war the Bush regime initiated in Somalia has boomeranged into unstoppable protracted insurgency that defies any US military stratagem. Simply put, the US has no way of winning this endless war other than negotiating with the Hawiye Resistance for an exit strategy. The US superpower to its credit has not hesitated to deploy every known weapon of mass destruction to its Ethiopian and African proxies (other than the nuclear arsenal) killings millions of people in Southern Somalia, along with Afghanistan and Iraq. Still as mounting evidence shows the US and its bloody proxy mercenaries in Addis Ababa and Europe are pinned down in the never ending cycle of the same urban warfare, on the same streets, in the same neighborhoods and towns with the same zero results hurling towards open defeat!

Therefore, General Petraeus understands the dynamic that the indigenous Somali Hawiye Resistance forces will never really stop until the US treasury and public become so exhausted from the endless conflict (which gauging from Obama’s victory seems to be the case). Knowing how weak and fragile the Ethiopian concentration camp is to the aftershocks of the war in Mogadishu the US military strategists under Petraeus may opt to extract America from Somalia under the rubric of a “dignified end”.
