Jigjig (HOL) - Ethiopia's Somali regional state President, Mustafa Cagjar, reshuffled his cabinet on Thursday.
Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hussein was appointed the Minister of the Pastoral Development Office. Former Minister of Investment office Dayib Ahmed Nor was appointed Minister of Security, and the former Minister of Security office Mubashir Dubbad was appointed Minister of Planning office, a new Ministry.
The Minister of Trade and Transport office, facing criticism from the public, has now been taken over by Mohamed Ali Kunnay, the former Governor of the Dawa region.
Abdirahman Eid Dahir, the former Minister of the Urban Development Office, was removed from his position a few days ago. Reports say that he has been promoted to the federal level.
The reshuffle of the nine portfolios comes days after President Mustafa Cagjar toured several ministries and evaluated their effectiveness.
