MOGADISHU (HOL) - Somaliland delegates today resumed the election of candidates running for the House of the People.
Former Deputy Prime Minister and current Presidential Candidate Fawzia Adam was re-elected MP in the elections conducted in Mogadishu. She beat Asha Adan Yusuf.
Jama Mohamed Askar, a former member of Somalia's parliament was declared winner after his rival Adan Ahmed Nur Haybe withdrew from the race.
Current MP Guled Bihi Abdi won with 58 votes, while Ahmed Mohamud Mohamed received 22 votes and Abdullahi Bihi Hussein received 21 votes.
Abdilahi Osman Duale won the 4th seat in today's election his opponent Muna Ali Ibrahim dropped out of the race.
