Football Kenya Federation national elections will not go on unless North Eastern branch are allowed to take part.
The branch obtained an injunction against the Electoral Board from going on with the national elections unless they are involved. The order however, does not affect sub-branch and branch elections which are already going on.
The injunction was issued on Friday and has been served on all the board members. Ahmedsiad Mohammed Abdi, who obtained the injunction, told Goal that it was pre-emptive order and does not stop the primaries.
"This order is inviting the board to talk to us. We just want to be included in the elections and that is why we are saying that national elections should not go on unless we are allowed to hold sub-branch and branch elections.”
