A book fair aims to give people in Leicester a chance to learn more about Somalia.
The event is being planned by the Somali Advice and Information Service for Taylor Road Primary School, in St Matthews on November 16 to 18.
It will feature about 350 books on different topics discussing Somali culture, history and social life. Organisers have applied to the Spinney Hills Community Fund for £662.50 to help fund the fair.
