Victim was dragged near a building and stabbed to deathTwo Somali nationals have been arrested in Dubai for the murder of a compatriot.
The men identified as AM and AA allegedly assaulted the victim MA on September 16 in a building located in the Al Nakheel area of Dubai, reported The Gulf Today.
The victim returned to the UAE after an earlier stint two years ago. An alcoholic, he was forced to leave Somalia by his father.
On the day of the crime a witness told police that he saw two men dragging the victim near the entrance of the building. He was repeatedly stabbed till he collapsed.
Lt.Col. Salem Khalifa Al Rumaithi, Deputy Director of the CID was quoted as saying the victim’s real name was not MA and he was on a new passport when he returned to the UAE.
