Mogadishu (HOL) — Police in Garasbaaley have arrested a man accused of fatally stabbing his wife in what authorities described as a brutal domestic killing that has shocked the local community.

Police identified the suspect as Abshir Sheikh Cabdisalaan Mohamed, who allegedly attacked his wife with a knife at their home on Sunday. Officers launched a swift operation following the incident and apprehended the suspect shortly afterward.According to district police officials, Abshir remains in custody at the Garasbaaley police station while investigators gather evidence and interview witnesses. Authorities said the case will be referred to the competent court once the preliminary investigation is complete.
