Mogadishu (HOL) — Somalia and Kuwait signed three agreements on Tuesday aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.
Somali Foreign Minister Abdisalam Abdi Ali, on an official visit to Kuwait, and his Kuwaiti counterpart, Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya, signed the agreements in the Kuwaiti capital. They include the creation of a joint committee to accelerate cooperation, an agreement on regular bilateral consultations, and a memorandum of cooperation between the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute of Kuwait and Somalia’s Diplomatic Studies Institute.
Officials said the agreements are intended to deepen political, economic, and diplomatic links while fostering skills development in foreign service training.
