Jarar wins the Zonal football tournament of the Somali regional state in Ethiopia.

    Jigjiga (HOL) - Somali Regional State in Ethiopia President Mustafe Cagjar congratulated the Jarar region football team for winning the Zonal football competition of the Somali region for the second time in three years.

    The President gave the trophy to the Jarar team on Thursday afternoon after defeating the Erar region team to win the title.

    “Peace! Passion for sports is a new uplifting culture of our youth. Congratulations, Jarar Lions, for winning the Zonal Football competition of the Somali Region for the 2nd time in three years”, the President said.

    The Somali regional football tournament has been underway in Jigjiga for two weeks with the participation of teams from the Somali provincial regions.

    Jarar region is one of the largest regions in the Somali region, with Dhagahbur as its capital. It is one of the regions closest to the capital of the Somali regional state of Jigjiga.
