MOGADISHU (HOL) - President Mohamed Farmaajo has announced a new replacement at the helm of the Villa Somalia administration following the ministerial changes last week.
Mohamed Abdullahi Isse aka Dheere will now be chief of staff at Villa Somalia replacing Abdisaid Muse Ali who was moved last week to become Minister of Foreign Affairs.
“Mohamed Dheere will be contributing to the Office of the President with over 28 years of work experience, specializing in politics, administration and community development,” a statement from Villa Somalia read in part. "President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has instructed the new Director to carry out the important tasks and prayed to God to make this difficult task easier for him."
Ali had served as chief of staff for barely a month before he was moved to foreign affairs. He had previously been the National Security Advisor since 2018.
He relaced Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamed at foreign affairs.
Mohamed Dheere now becomes the fourth chief of staff during the Mohamed Farmaajo presidency.
