Mogadishu (HOL) - Somalia's Ministry of Health has issued an order that individuals leaving the country can only obtain a COVID-19 medical certificate from a government-recognized facility.
A statement from the ministry said no other certificates from any other health centre would be accepted.
According to the ministry, an online system has been developed to check the COVID exit documents of travellers.
The ministry added that anyone wishing to be checked by a government-approved facility in the Mogadishu area should go to Banadir Hospital and De Martino Hospital. De Martino hospital is the central government hospital for the management of COVID-19.
Finally, the ministry said that the incoming international flights are still banned in Somalia.
