DHUSAMAREB (HOL) - Two planes
carrying Somali army troops landed in Dhusamareb district in Galgadud region
ahead of the expected reconciliation conference in Dhusamareb town, sources
said.
The troops are reported to be part of the security for the
reconciliation conference expected to open in Dhusamareb district, however,
there is a strong disagreement between the administration of Ahlu Sunna and the
federal government over the preparation of the conference and security
arrangements.
The Ahlu Sunna Waljama'a (ASWJ) backed by the African Union Mission
in Somalia (AMISOM) has taken over the control of the town of Dhusamareb.
The disagreement between the Federal Government and Ahlu Sunna is on
the agenda of topics to be discussed.
The leadership of Ahlu Sunna has accused the federal government of
planning to invite Dhusamareb elders from other areas who are supporters of
Al-Shabaab.
