Terrorist attacks against civilians in Mogadishu andon the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) are another attempt to undermine Somalia's determined course towards a stable and secure country.
The EU expresses its condolences to all the victims and their families.
The EU pays tribute to all security personnel for their commitment to rebuild Somalia and ensure a peaceful environment for the population. These attacks will not deter our strong support of AMISOM and the Somali National Security Forces in their efforts to bring security and stability to the country. The EU will continue working with the Somali authorities, the African Union and other partners to enhance stability and Somalia's capacity to fight terrorism.
