Investigators are on their way to the West Australian south coast to examine a property that burned on Friday night, killing a teenager.
Police received several reports of an explosion at the Albany suburb of Centennial Park shortly before 10pm (WST) on Friday.
The explosion sparked a blaze that tore through a property at Middelton Road and killed an 18-year-old man, believed to be Somali.
It's understood the teenager died after he was trapped under concrete.
A 58-year-old woman received serious burns and was flown to Royal Perth Hospital.
Two girls, aged 14 and 16, and a 19-year-old man were also at the home but suffered only minor injuries.
A police spokeswoman said the cause of the explosion and subsequent fire were still undetermined.
It was too early to say whether the blaze would be treated as suspicious, she said.
