Envoy’s death: Police circulated photo of suspect

Police have circulated the photo of a man suspected to have been involved in the murder of the late Venezuelan Embassy Mrs Olga Fonsesca Jimerez, who was until her tragic death the charge D'affairs Venezuelan Embassy in Nairobi.
Any person with information on Muhammed Ahmed Mohammed whereabouts is requested to report to the nearest police station

The move comes after the high court ruled that  Former deputy ambassador  Dwight Sarragay will be held in police custody for six days to help police conclude its investigations .

Photo of Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Hassan who is was wanted by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Nairobi Area in connection with the murder of the Venezuela Ambassador have been released to the public this was after Nairobi CID police boss Nicholas Kamwende moved to court to request a warrant of arrest for Hassan.

Subsequently, Dwight Sarragay will be held for six days contrary to the 14 days applied by the prosecution.

Sagaray was arrested on Saturday, after his diplomatic immunity was waived.

Fonseca who was found dead on Friday is suspected to have been murdered on Thursday night after a party in her house.

Also two Guards who manned the gate of the slain Venezuelan ambassador Olga Fonseca were also charged on Monday afternoon with committing a felony for falling to prevent the envoys death.

The two Bernard Owino and Eliud Kimutai who appeared before Chief magistrate Esther Maina however denied the charge and were released on a cash bail of Sh100, 000.

Elsewhere, the hearing of a case in which is seeking to block William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta from vying for presidency failed to kick off after the court was told that two judges presiding over the matter are in disposed.

However through his lawyer Evans Monari Kenyatta has filed an objection arguing that the court has no powers to hear the case.

Meanwhile KAA managing director the Corporations Secretary appeared in court and defended themselves over contempt of court orders.

Stephen Gichuki and Joey Nyaga were however warned against disobeying court orders. The court in 2008 issued temporary against KAA restraining it from awarding any concessions in respect of a tender for the development, management and operation of duty free shops.

Finally Kilome Mp and a citizen Evans Misiti have filed a petition challenging section 26 of the Election Act which bars the Mp's from holding harambes.

They argue that the intended action is unfair adding that Harambee is a unique Kenyan institution and an element of Kenyan Nationalism rooted in the African traditional of mutual responsibility.
