President Guelleh of Djibouti receives message from President Al-Bashir

Khartoum (Sudan Vision Dilay) - Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh received a written message from President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, inviting him to take part in the Arab Conference on the Humanitarian situations in Darfur, due to be held in Khartoum next October.

This came when the Adviser of the President, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, was received by the President of Djibouti Thursday.

During the meeting, Dr. Osman conveyed to the Djibouti President the greetings of President Al-Bashir and briefed him on the latest developments on the issue of Darfur.

 The meeting further touched on means of boosting the bilateral relations and cooperation, particularly in health and agriculture, as well as the latest developments in Somalia and the Horn of Africa.

 President Guelleh, on his part, welcomed President Al-Bashir's invitation and affirmed that he will participate in the conference in order to assist the peace efforts being exerted in the region. It is to be noted that the Adviser of the President concluded a tour in which he handed over messages from President Al-Bashir to the Leaders of the UEA, Kingdom of Bahrain, Yemen and Djibouti on the convocation of the Arab Arab Conference on Darfur
