A Somali businessman was shot and killed by three men who later stole money from his spaza shop at the Msobomvu township in Butterworth, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.Somalian, Bashir Mohammed Shaft, 35, died on his way to hospital after the men shot 15 bullets into him on Saturday night, spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said.
A boy, who had gone to Shaft's spaza shop to buy bread, was caught in the gunfire.
"He was injured and taken to hospital."
Only one of the men, a 34-year-old, was arrested and the other two are still at large, Manatha said.
