Columbus Police are searching for a suspected thief who held-up a restaurant worker in Linden at gunpoint.

"I mean it was so scary," said Mukhtar Issa, manager at Calanley Somali Restaurant on Cleveland Avenue.

Issa says one of his cashiers was robbed on December 30th when a masked gunman walked into the business and demanded cash, while a customer stood at the counter.

"The good thing is that nobody got injured, that's the thing that made me happy," said Issa.

ABC 6/FOX 28 obtained security video that captured the crook walking into the lobby and demanding cash from the register.

"Really it's so scary, something I cannot describe, that kind of person cannot be in society," said Issa.

The suspected thief did not get away with much, around $70 was sitting in the register.

Police say the suspect was wearing a mask and gloves, a puffy black jacket, and light-colored pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Columbus Police at 614-645-4545.
