Mogadishu (HOL) - Unknown assailants killed a prominent businessman in the center of the Aabudwak district in the Galgadud region on Monday.
The killing of Mohamud Abdinur occurred near a fuel tank in the Waberi neighbourhood and was reportedly motivated by clan revenge, according to the residents.
Police officers who arrived at the scene conducted an investigation, but it is unclear if any arrests have been made.
The district administration and government security agencies did not comment on the businessman's death, and similar killings have occurred in the Cabudwak district over the last months.
