Mathias 'Salongo Matia' Lule is set to refund the $1000 advance fee he had been sent from Somalia Football Federation because he will not travel to Somalia.

"Yes, i will not take the job of Somali football team head coach because i am committed to yet another project in Uganda to develop youth talent in Uganda. I am set to refund the $ 1000 advance fee i had been sent."

The Somalia F.A had agreed initial terms with the CAF 'A' licenced coach to take over the mantle of their national team for the next two years.

Kawowo Sports has learnt that Lule, who is fresh from Germany where he under took a talents' development course has been granted a new job by FUFA under the 'New Talent Generation Uganda'.

The project is a new initiative in youth talent development in the country and Lule, who was formerly the Uganda U-17 head coach has been tipped as the best suited coach to handle the project.

On refunding the money, Lule clarifies;

"On Tuesday, I will hand the money to FUFA so that they send it to the Somalia Federation."

The development implies Somalia F.A returns to the search for the head coach slot with the goalkeeping coach role already taken by Moses 'Ugboss' Oloya, who quit his job at Onduparaka Football Club, a top flight league debutant team based in the West Nile region district of Arua.

Oloya is already in Somalia well in to commence his work tasks as the goalkeepers' tactician.

Two other Ugandans, George Ssemwogerere  and Charles Livingstone Mbabazi have previously coached the Somalia national team.
