Ayla Hotels and Resorts group general manager Mohamed Soussan
Al Ain-based hotel group Ayla Hotels and Resorts is due to open its first property in Africa, which will also be Ayla’s first launch outside of the UAE.
The upcoming Ayla Djibouti Resort is currently expected to open in Q2 2017.
Speaking to Hotelier, Ayla Hotels and Resorts group general manager Mohamed Soussan revealed that the Djibouti project represents a US $24.5 million (AED90 million) investment for the hotel group.
Ayla Hotels and Resorts currently operates two properties in Al Ain, UAE (Ayla Hotel and Ayla Bawadi Hotel), with an additional Al Ain property currently in the pipeline: the Ayla Grand Hotel, which is expected to open in Q4 2016.
